Once a month, I post a Gattai, and usually each grid has a separate constraint. This month, five grids, a full Samurai Sudoku, but they are all classic Sudoku, with diagonal lines the only extra rule.
This title is redundant, since 侍 is the character for “Samurai,” making the title “Samurai Samurai Samurai.”
Rules:
Normal Samurai (Gattai-5) rules apply. That is, there are five overlapping 9x9 Sudoku grids. Within each Sudoku grid, each row, column, and 3x3 box contains the digits 1-9. Boxes at the intersections of multiple Sudoku grids are part of both.
The marked diagonals each contain the digits 1 to 9 exactly once.
Estimated difficulty: 2.5 out of 5
