Some combinations of constraints are difficult for people with colorblindness. So there’s a version of this puzzle as I initially intended it, but a friend with deuteranopia very patiently reviewed more than a half-dozen different attempts to ensure the pink and green cages were easily distinguishable, and this is the version that was clearest for him. So it’s the official version.
Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Each marked diagonal contains the digits 1 to 9 exactly once.
Digits within cages sum to the total in the top-left corner of the cage.
Digits on each hollow pink line form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits in any order. Some lines are contained within cages.
Within solid green cages (the 13-cage, the 20-cage, and the 18-cage in Box 1), adjacent digits differ by at least five.
Estimated difficulty: 1 out of 5
